. They have a smooth finish and are used to create a useful as well as decorative finish on the top of a brick wall. They have a drip moulded channel on the underside which stops harmful water cascading down the face of the wall which, in the long term, will cause it to discolour. Water can also get into the bricks and when it freezes it will expand causing blowing to the face brickwork resulting in extensive costly damage. The coping overhangs the wall on either side at approximately 4cm to ensure the water falls away. They can also be decorated easily to match existing property features
